Credit Where Credit's Due

This program is for women in the farming community who may be looking to contribute more to the management of their business, or create an opportunity for external employment.

The program is designed to provide training in a range of topics - budgeting, financial monitoring and management, paying accounts, preparing BAS returns, keeping records, time management, staff employment and management, property planning, marketing, and succession planning. Recognition of existing skills and knowledge is incorporated into the assessment process so participants may only have to complete parts of units, or have full units credited.

Students enrol in Certificate IV Rural Business (RTE40603) and attend 12 one day workshops and have an individual visit for workplace recognition. The workshops are programmed to fit around other demands on the participants (such as school hours, etc).
