HSC@TAFE

Choose a flexible way to finish your Higher School Certificate if you’re finding school doesn’t suit...

TAFE NSW Riverina Institute provides the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in Higher School Certificate (HSC) studies for students who wish to complete their HSC in an adult learning environment.  HSC courses are curently delivered at the Wagga Wagga and Albury Campuses.

The course is offered "intensively" - that is, students undertake both Year 11 (Preliminary) and Year 12 (HSC) levels in each of three subjects across two years, leading to a total of six subjects.

The Statement of Attainment in HSC Studies enable students to meet the Board of Studies requirements for the award of the Higher School Certificate.

Students may choose to complete a TAFE HSC Pathway where a TAFE Certificate is completed as part of the HSC course of study or students may complete their HSC without including a TAFE Certificate.
