How do I Enrol?

Step 1

Create a Unique Student Identifier (USI) - see below.

Step 2

Select the course you want to do and check that the course study modes and locations suit your needs.

Step 3

Check you meet the course entry requirements. Entry requirements are the minimum qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience needed. These are listed on each Course Information page.

Step 4

Apply for your selected course online, or alternately, please call 1300 8233 74, visit your local campus, or email us your details, to work out your fees and what government subsidies you’re eligible for.

What is the Unique Student Identifier? 

All students participating in Nationally Recognised Training in Australia will need to have a Unique Student Identifier, or USI. Click here for more information or call 1300 8233 74 to talk to one of our customer service officers.

Other Key Information 

  • To commence training you are required to pay your fees.
  • If you can't find the course you are looking for, or you are having difficulties applying online, please call 1300 8233 74 to chat to one of our friendly customer service officers or email us your details.
  • To be eligible to access government subsidised training in TAFE NSW you must be an Australian citizen or meet the criteria of being an Australian permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Humanitarian visa holder.
  • You must also have a NSW residential address or be employed within NSW to be eligible to access government subsidised training places in TAFE NSW.
  • Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who do not live or work in NSW but live in defined NSW interstate boarder areas are eligible for government subsidised training. Please contact us to confirm your eligibility if you live in an area that boarders NSW. Smart and Skilled for Aboriginal students factsheet.
  • Apprentices who are registered in other States and Territories and are required to undertake training at TAFE NSW may continue to be eligible to access government subsidised training places in 2016 subject to confirmation from NSW State Training Services. Please contact your local State Training Services regional office to confirm the fee.
  • Trainees who are registered in NSW and Training at TAFE NSW will continue to be eligible to access government subsidised training place.
