SHAPE YOUR FUTURE

"Being a Beauty Therapist is such an enjoyable job."

Creative and Practical Arts

Creative and Practical Arts has three main areas of study – Fine Arts, Hair and Beauty and Digital Media.

Fine Arts offers professional programs with strong industry links. All programs are delivered by practising artists who are highly regarded for their skills and talents. Programs are time rich, hands on and studio based and are all underpinned by broad skills. Our programs are unique in providing the face to face studio work.

The Albury and Wagga Wagga campuses offer specialisations in Digital (Multi) Media to Diploma level. Other areas of specialisation are digital photography, digital image manipulation, video capture and editing, authoring, design and publication of printed and digital media.

Hair and Beauty programs are delivered mainly from the Wagga Wagga, Albury and Griffith campuses. As well as apprenticeship training, specialist courses are offered in nail technology, beauty and massage. All programs are delivered in industry standard training salons using real clients. Certificate II is offered for people who do not have an apprenticeship, enabling them to obtain an overview and some practical skills for work as a hairdressing assistant or receptionist or to apply for apprenticeship opportunities.
