Current training for future needs

The Riverina Food and Wine Technology Centre at Griffith meets the training and education needs of the food and wine processing industries – a significant provider of local employment.

It represents our commitment to providing current and relevant training where it is most useful, and offers the opportunity for a close connection between the training centre and workplaces. The Centre features the latest in equipment, laboratories, and resources to ensure that the training and vocational education provided is both current and appropriate to employment and career needs.

Flexible learning at a range of qualification levels

The Riverina Wine and Food Technology Centre offers training at Certificate II level through to Certificate IV and Diploma levels with many qualifications delivered under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Our training packages are based on the needs of Food Processing Industries such as Food and Wine. We also provide extensive training in Laboratory Techniques.

Training ranges from traditional face-to-face methods through to workplace training and assessment as well as traineeships. The training can be either part-time or full-time depending on your requirements, in areas as diverse as food quality, cellar induction, bottling and food testing.
