ENROLMENTS FOR SEMESTER 2 OPEN 29 JUNE!
Griffith is the ‘oasis’ of the Riverina and the heart of Wine & Food Country. It is a thriving city with a unique mix of cultures from around the world giving Griffith that true cosmopolitan feel.
Griffith campus hosts the Riverina Wine and Food Technology Centre, a specialist centre offering customised training to the wine and food manufacturing industries.
The campus is also part of the Institute’s University Studies Centre; and is a regional trades training centre for Metal Fabrication and Welding, Building, Hair & Beauty and Transport. It also teaches courses in the key areas of Nursing, Information Technology; Child Studies; Business and General/Vocational Education.
The campus' has a new 'state of the art' $6.2 million Health and Community Services facility. This building accommodates the Health, Welfare and Child Studies departments of the campus. In 2009 a range of exciting new courses will be developed including the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Nursing programs as well as courses in Allied Health and Welfare. With our partnership arrangement with Charles Sturt University, work will also get underway to deliver the Degree program in Early Childhood as well as the Registered Nurse program - both possibly for 2010.
The Integrated Degree program in Business Management is offered in partnership with Charles Sturt University (see the link above). In 2009 the campus will offer the Graduate Certificate in Business Management, also in partnership with Charles Sturt University and will be followed by the Graduate Diploma in Business Management in 2009. Both programs offer articulation into the Masters program in Business Management. A new innovation for 2009 will be the campus's ability to deliver the first year of the Degree in Accountancy in Griffith as a result of changes made to the existing Integrated Degree in Business Management.
In 2009 Griffith campus will also implement a new Trade School concept which will focus on School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeship in Automotive and Construction whilst still offering the same in Welding/Fabrication, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
Griffith also welcomes eligible students from overseas to study at the campus. Our range of courses offer flexibility and great outcomes.
