This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of agricultural machinery in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
Learners attend Campus by Block Release - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every third week or Day Release - every Tuesday, 8.00am - 5.00pm
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy: Learners are required to supply and wear PPE – this includes safety boots, cotton drill trousers, long sleeve shirt and safety glasses.
All students studying qualifications are required to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) before enrolment. The USI is a Government initiative that will allow you to access all your training records in one place.
TAFE NSW Riverina Institute requires your USI to complete your enrolment. To create your USI, follow the steps on the https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi. It’s quick, free and you only need to do it once.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, and as a result your fee is determined through Training Services NSW formal eligibility criteria. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.
Students who are eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or credit transfer from previous study will have their fee adjusted to reflect this. The amended fee will be confirmed by Training Services NSW and will be reflected in the adjusted Student Fee Statement.
Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW Riverina Institute for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications. Students should refer Instalment Plan options for relevant details.
To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
